Creation of Barrio Bongato West in Bayambang, Pangasinan
Republic Act No. 2774, enacted on June 19, 1960, establishes the barrio of Bongato West as a separate entity from the existing Barrio of Bongato in the Municipality of Bayambang, Pangasinan. The remaining area of the original barrio is designated as Barrio Bongato East. This act took effect immediately upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on February 6, 1961.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2774
AN ACT CREATING THE BARRIO OF BONGATO WEST IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYAMBANG, PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN
SECTION 1. The sitio of Bongato West is separated from the Barrio of Bongato, Municipality of Bayambang, Province of Pangasinan, and same is hereby constituted as a distinct and separate barrio of the said municipality. acd
SECTION 2. The remaining portion shall be known as Barrio Bongato East.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
