Creation of Barrio Da-o in San Jose, Samar
Republic Act No. 2153, enacted on April 24, 1959, establishes the barrio of Da-o in the Municipality of San Jose, Province of Samar. This new barrio is formed from the sitios of Little Dogon, Big Dogon, Patag, Ongos-ongos, and Dao-Fishpond. The Act took effect immediately upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on June 1, 1959.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2153
AN ACT CREATING THE BARRIO OF DA-O IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN JOSE, PROVINCE OF SAMAR
SECTION 1. The sitios of Little Doñgon, Big Doñgon, Patag, Ongos-ongos and Dao-Fishpond in the Municipality of San Jose, Province of Samar, are hereby constituted into a barrio in the said municipality to be known as the barrio of Da-o.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
