Creation of Barangay Paalaman, Jalajala, Rizal
Batas Pambansa Blg. 786, enacted on April 27, 1984, establishes a new barangay called Barangay Paalaman in the Municipality of Jalajala, Province of Rizal, by separating it from Barangay Special District. The new barangay encompasses specific sitios and is bounded by neighboring barangays. A plebiscite must be held within 120 days of the Act's approval to ratify the creation of Barangay Paalaman, with the Commission on Elections overseeing this process. Following the plebiscite, the President will appoint the initial officials of Barangay Paalaman until the next regular barangay elections. The Act takes effect upon approval.

AN ACT CONSTITUTING SITIOS OF PAALAMAN, TATLONG PULO, CALUMPIT, SUPOT, BUKAL AND LA MESANG BATO, ALL IN BARANGAY SPECIAL DISTRICT, MUNICIPALITY OF JALAJALA, PROVINCE OF RIZAL INTO A NEW BARANGAY TO BE KNOWN AS BARANGAY PAALAMAN
SECTION 1. The sitios of Paalaman, Tatlong Pulo, Calumpit, Supot, Bukal and La Mesang Bato, all in Barangay Special District, Municipality of Jalajala, Province of Rizal, are hereby separated from Barangay Special District and constituted into a new barangay of the said municipality to be known as Barangay Paalaman.
SECTION 2. Barangay Paalaman shall include the area bounded by: N — Eastern part of Barangay Sipsipin, E — Barangay Bagumbong, W — Barangay Special District, S — Barangay Lubo. acd
SECTION 3. After ratification by the majority of the votes cast in a plebiscite to be conducted in the area affected within one hundred twenty days from the approval of this Act, the President of the Philippines shall appoint the first officials of Barangay Paalaman who shall hold office until their successors shall have been elected and qualified in the next regular barangay election. cdt
SECTION 4. The Commission on Elections shall conduct and supervise the plebiscite herein provided. The expenses for such plebiscite shall be charged to the appropriations of the Commission on Elections provided in the current annual General Appropriations Act for plebiscites.
SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
