Conversion of Ummat Brgy. High School in Simunul, Tawi-Tawi into a National High School
Batas Pambansa Blg. 620, enacted on June 24, 1983, converts the Ummat Barangay High School in Simunul, Tawi-Tawi, into a national high school, now known as Ummat National High School. The school will continue to receive funding from local resources and its share of national aid for the current fiscal year. Future funding requirements will be included in upcoming General Appropriations Acts. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on May 14, 1984.

BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 620
AN ACT CONVERTING THE UMMAT BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SIMUNUL, PROVINCE OF TAWI-TAWI, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE UMMAT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Ummat Barangay High School in the Municipality of Simunul, Province of Tawi-Tawi, is converted into a national high school to be known as the Ummat National High School.
SECTION 2. The operation of said school for the current fiscal year shall continue to be funded out of local funds and from its share of national aid to local schools. The requirements for succeeding fiscal years shall be provided in the forthcoming General Appropriations Acts. asia dc
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
