Conversion of Tagudin High School in Tagudin, Ilocos Sur into Tagudin General Comprehensive High School
Republic Act No. 4447, enacted on June 19, 1965, converts Tagudin High School in Ilocos Sur into a national high school named Tagudin General Comprehensive High School. REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4447
AN ACT CONVERTING TAGUDIN HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAGUDIN, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS SUR, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS TAGUDIN GENERAL COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Tagudin High School is hereby converted into a national high school, to be known as Tagudin General Comprehensive High School. Comprehensive curriculum which includes both academic and industrial arts and handicraft courses shall be offered. The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to reorganize the said school accordingly.
SECTION 2. Upon organization of Tagudin General Comprehensive High School, the assets, liabilities, personnel, equipment and records of Tagudin High School shall stand transferred to said Tagudin General Comprehensive High School.
SECTION 3. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation and maintenance of the said school in addition to its matriculation and tuition fees, and other revenues. cd i
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
