BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 389
AN ACT CONVERTING THE SILAGO BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL IN CENTRAL, MUNICIPALITY OF SILAGO, PROVINCE OF SOUTHERN LEYTE, INTO A NATIONAL VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS SILAGO NATIONAL VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Silago Barangay High School in Central, Municipality of Silago, Province of Southern Leyte, is hereby converted into a national vocational high school to be known as Silago National Vocational High School. cd i
SECTION 2. The amount of one hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 and Batas Pambansa Blg. 230 for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports intended for new national high schools: Provided, That the local government unit concerned shall continue to provide funding for its share in the cost of maintenance and operation of the school. Thereafter, the amount needed for the operation and maintenance of the school shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
