Conversion of Sigma Barangay High School in Sigma, Capiz Into a National High School

BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 427
AN ACT CONVERTING THE SIGMA BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SIGMA, PROVINCE OF CAPIZ, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE SIGMA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
SECTION 1. The Sigma Barangay High School in the Municipality of Sigma, Province of Capiz, is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the Sigma National High School.
SECTION 2. The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports is hereby directed to take the necessary steps for the conversion and operation of said school and immediate implementation of this Act.
SECTION 3. The amount of one hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 230 for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports intended for new national high schools and an additional amount corresponding to fifty percent of its share in the budgetary aid actually paid to it before such conversion shall be released for its operation from the national assistance fund to local schools. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
