Conversion of Salogon Barangay High School in San Jose, Camarines Sur Into San Jose Fisheries School
Batas Pambansa Blg. 406, enacted on June 10, 1983, converts the Salogon Barangay High School in San Jose, Camarines Sur, into the San Jose Fisheries School. This new institution is authorized to offer aquaculture and technical courses alongside the general academic curriculum. All assets, records, and personnel from the original school are transferred to the newly established fisheries school. The act allocates an initial budget of one hundred thousand pesos for its operation, with future funding to be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. AN ACT CONVERTING THE SALOGON BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL LOCATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN JOSE, PROVINCE OF CAMARINES SUR, INTO A FISHERIES SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS SAN JOSE FISHERIES SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Salogon Barangay High School located in the Municipality of San Jose, Province of Camarines Sur, is hereby converted into a fisheries school to be known as San Jose Fisheries School and hereinafter referred to in this Act as the School. asia dc
SECTION 2. The Minister of Education, Culture and Sports is hereby empowered to reorganize the school and to authorize said school to offer, in addition to the general academic curriculum, aquaculture and other technical or technological courses related to fisheries and marine resources.
SECTION 3. All assets of the Salogon Barangay High School whether immovable or movable, records and personnel are hereby transferred to the San Jose Fisheries School. cd i
SECTION 4. The amount of one hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 230 for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports intended for new national high schools and an additional amount corresponding to fifty percent of its share in the budgetary aid actually paid to it before such conversion shall be released for its operation from the national assistance fund to local schools. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
