Conversion of Quipot High School in Janiuay, Iloilo into Quipot National High School

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7761
AN ACT CONVERTING THE QUIPOT HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY QUIPOT, MUNICIPALITY OF JANIUAY, PROVINCE OF ILOILO, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE QUIPOT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Quipot High School is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the Quipot National High School.
SECTION 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall take the necessary steps for the immediate implementation of this Act.
SECTION 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Republic Act No. 7663 for the Department of Education, Culture and Sports intended for the operational expenses of newly legislated high schools. Thereafter, the amount needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. cd
