Batas Pambansa Blg. 518, enacted on June 10, 1983, converts Pearanda High School in Nueva Ecija into a national high school named Pearanda National High School. The funding for the school's operations will initially come from local sources and national aid for the current fiscal year, with future funding to be included in the General Appropriations Acts. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on April 23, 1984.

AN ACT CONVERTING THE PEÑARANDA HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PEÑARANDA, PROVINCE OF NUEVA ECIJA, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE PEÑARANDA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Peñaranda High School in the Municipality of Peñaranda, Province of Nueva Ecija, is converted into a national high school to be known as the Peñaranda National High School. cdt
SECTION 2. The operation of said school for the current fiscal year shall continue to be funded out of local funds and from its share of national aid to local schools. The requirements for succeeding fiscal years shall be provided in the forthcoming General Appropriations Acts.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
