Conversion of Municipal District of San Luis, Aurora, Quezon into Municipality
Republic Act No. 3487, enacted on June 16, 1962, officially converts the Municipal District of San Luis in the Subprovince of Aurora, Quezon Province, into a full-fledged municipality. The current mayor, vice-mayor, and councilors of the Municipal District will continue in their positions until new officials are elected in the next regular elections. This Act took effect immediately upon its approval. The law was published in the Official Gazette on November 5, 1962.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3487
AN ACT TO CONVERT THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF SAN LUIS, SUBPROVINCE OF AURORA, PROVINCE OF QUEZON, INTO A MUNICIPALITY
SECTION 1. The Municipal District of San Luis, Subprovince of Aurora, Province of Quezon, is hereby converted into a municipality. acd
SECTION 2. The present mayor, vice-mayor and councilors of the Municipal District of San Luis shall be the mayor, vice-mayor and councilors, respectively, of the new municipality until their successors shall have been elected in the next regular elections for provincial and municipal officials and shall have qualified.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. aisa dc
