Conversion of Magallanes Municipal High School in Magallanes, Agusan Del Norte Into a National High School
Batas Pambansa Blg. 432, enacted on June 10, 1983, converts the Magallanes Municipal High School in Agusan del Norte into the Magallanes National High School. The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports is tasked with implementing this conversion. An initial funding of one hundred thousand pesos will be allocated from existing appropriations for new national high schools, with additional funding to be included in future annual budgets. BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 432
AN ACT CONVERTING THE MAGALLANES MUNICIPAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MAGALLANES, PROVINCE OF AGUSAN DEL NORTE, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
SECTION 1. The Magallanes Municipal High School in the Municipality of Magallanes, Province of Agusan del Norte, is converted into a national high school to be known as the Magallanes National High School.
SECTION 2. The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports shall take the necessary steps for the immediate implementation of this Act.
SECTION 3. The amount of one hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 230 for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports intended for new national high schools and an additional amount corresponding to fifty percent of its share in the budgetary aid actually paid to it before such conversion shall be released for its operation from the national assistance fund to local schools. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. cdt
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
