Conversion of Luna Municipal High School in Luna, La Union Into a National High School
Batas Pambansa Blg. 460, enacted on June 10, 1983, converts the Luna Municipal High School in Luna, La Union, into a national high school, which will be named Luna National High School. The law allocates an initial budget of one hundred thousand pesos from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports for its operation, alongside an additional fifty percent of the school's prior budgetary aid. Future funding for its operation and maintenance will be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. The Act took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on April 9, 1984.

AN ACT CONVERTING THE LUNA MUNICIPAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LUNA, PROVINCE OF LA UNION, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE LUNA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Luna Municipal High School in the Municipality of Luna, Province of La Union, is converted into a national high school to be known as the Luna National High School. acd
SECTION 2. The amount of one hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Bilang 230 for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports intended for new national high schools and an additional amount corresponding to fifty percent of its share in the budgetary aid actually paid to it before such conversion shall be released for its operation from the national assistance fund to local schools. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. cdt
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
