REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3528
AN ACT CONVERTING THE LIANGA HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LIANGA, PROVINCE OF SURIGAO DEL SUR, INTO A NATIONAL SCHOOL OF FISHERIES TO BE KNOWN AS THE LIANGA NATIONAL SCHOOL OF FISHERIES, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Lianga High School in the Municipality of Lianga, Province of Surigao del Sur, is hereby converted into a national school of fisheries to be known as the Lianga National School of Fisheries. Collegiate courses shall be offered in said school.
SECTION 2. The Secretary of Education shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 3. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the conversion, operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-four. Thereafter, such sums as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts. cd
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
