REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3061
AN ACT TO CONVERT A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND ACQUIRED BY THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ANGONO, PROVINCE OF RIZAL, INTO DISPOSABLE OR ALIENABLE LAND OF THE STATE, TO BE SUBDIVIDED AND SOLD TO THE LANDLESS RESIDENTS OF SAID MUNICIPALITY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
SECTION 1. The piece of land which was acquired by the National Government out of the funds appropriated under Republic Act Numbered Nineteen hundred for the municipal building site of the Municipality of Angono, Province of Rizal, covered by Transfer Certificate of Title Numbered sixty-five thousand six hundred ninety-three, is hereby converted into disposable or alienable land of the State, to be subdivided into small lots and sold at cost on installment basis to landless residents of said municipality: Provided, That no person can purchase more than one lot.
SECTION 2. The proceeds from the sale of the lots to be sold under Section one of this Act shall be turned over to the Municipality of Angono for the renovation or completion of the municipal building of the said municipality.
SECTION 3. The Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, with the approval of the President of the Philippines, shall issue such rules and regulations as are necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
