Conversion of Don Agustin F. Escaño Municipal High School in Tomas Oppus, Southern Leyte into a National High School

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7863
AN ACT CONVERTING THE DON AGUSTIN F. ESCAÑO MUNICIPAL HIGH SCHOOL IN TOMAS OPPUS, SOUTHERN LEYTE, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE AGUSTIN F. ESCAÑO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Don Agustin F. Escaño Municipal High School in Tomas Oppus, Southern Leyte, is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the Agustin F. Escaño National High School.
SECTION 2. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.
SECTION 3. All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Don Agustin F. Escaño Municipal High School are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Agustin F. Escaño National High School.
SECTION 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter. casia
SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
