Conversion of Datu Halun Sakilan Emergency Hospital in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi Into a Provincial Hospital

BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 257
AN ACT CONVERTING THE DATU HALUN SAKILAN EMERGENCY HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BONGAO, PROVINCE OF TAWI-TAWI, INTO A PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL
SECTION 1. The Datu Halun Sakilan Emergency Hospital in the Municipality of Bongao, Province of Tawi-Tawi, is hereby converted into a 75-bed capacity provincial hospital.
SECTION 2. The amount needed for the operation of the hospital shall be determined in accordance with Section 40 of Presidential Decree No. 1177 and charged to the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 for the Ministry of Health intended for new hospitals. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. The Minister of Health shall determine the manner by which said hospital shall be made operational.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
