Conversion of City High School in Sto. Domingo, Iriga City Into Rinconada National Technical Vocational School

AN ACT CONVERTING THE CITY HIGH SCHOOL LOCATED IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL SCHOOL CAMPUS IN BARANGAY STO. DOMINGO, CITY OF IRIGA, INTO A NATIONAL TECHNICAL VOCATIONAL SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. The City High School located inside the South Central School campus in Barangay Sto. Domingo, City of Iriga, is hereby converted into a national technical vocational school to be known as the Rinconada National Technical Vocational School.

SECTION 2. The Minister of Education and Culture shall be empowered to reorganize the school in order to facilitate vocational and technological courses which shall be added to the general academic curriculum.

SECTION 3. The transfer of all assets, records and personnel of the City High School to the Rinconada National Technical Vocational School shall be coordinated by the Minister of Education and Culture. cd i

SECTION 4. The amount of one hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 for the Ministry of Education and Culture intended for new national schools: Provided, That the local government unit concerned shall continue to provide its share in the cost of operating and maintaining said school. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
