Conversion of Certain Sitios into Barrios in Arteche, Eastern Samar
Republic Act No. 6191, approved on June 19, 1971, converts the sitios of Naubay, Denapalan, Libtong, Balud, and Rawis in the Municipality of Arteche, Eastern Samar, into regular barrios. These new barrios will be designated as Barrios Santiago, San Antonio, San Celestino, San Pablo, and San Marquez, respectively. The Act took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on September 6, 1971.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6191
AN ACT CONVERTING THE SITIOS OF NAUBAY, DENAPALAN, LIBTONG, BALUD AND RAWIS, ALL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ARTECHE, PROVINCE OF EASTERN SAMAR, INTO REGULAR BARRIOS, TO BE KNOWN AS BARRIOS SANTIAGO, SAN ANTONIO, SAN CELESTINO, SAN PABLO AND SAN MARQUEZ, RESPECTIVELY
SECTION 1. The sitios of Naubay, Denapalan, Libtong, Balud and Rawis, all in the Municipality of Arteche, Province of Eastern Samar, are hereby converted into regular barrios to be known as Barrios Santiago, San Antonio, San Celestino, San Pablo and San Marquez, respectively. acd
