Conversion of Batac Emergency Hospital into Batac General Hospital

Republic Act No. 5191, enacted on April 18, 1968, converts the Batac Emergency Hospital in Batac, Ilocos Norte, into a general hospital named Batac General Hospital. To facilitate this conversion, an appropriation of 150,000 pesos from the National Treasury for the fiscal year 1967 is authorized, with subsequent funding to be included in future General Appropriations Acts. The act takes effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on April 28, 1969.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5191

AN ACT CONVERTING BATAC EMERGENCY HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BATAC, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE, INTO A GENERAL HOSPITAL TO BE KNOWN AS BATAC GENERAL HOSPITAL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. The Batac Emergency Hospital in the Municipality of Batac, Province of Ilocos Norte, is hereby converted into a general hospital to be known as Batac General Hospital. cd i

SECTION 2. The sum of one hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to carry out the purpose of this Act for the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-seven. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the same purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. cd

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
