Conversion of Barotac Viejo Academic Regional High School in Iloilo into Barotac Viejo National Agricultural School
Republic Act No. 3435, enacted on June 18, 1961, converts the Barotac Viejo Academic Regional High School in Iloilo into the Barotac Viejo National Agricultural School. The Director of Public Schools, with the Secretary of Education's approval, is responsible for reorganizing the institution under this Act. An initial appropriation of 250,000 pesos is allocated from the National Treasury for its establishment and operation in the fiscal year 1962, with future funding to be included in annual budget appropriations. The Act took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on July 9, 1962.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3435
AN ACT CONVERTING THE BAROTAC VIEJO ACADEMIC REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAROTAC VIEJO, PROVINCE OF ILOILO, INTO A NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE BAROTAC VIEJO NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Barotac Viejo Academic Regional High School in the Municipality of Barotac Viejo, Province of Iloilo, is converted into a national agricultural school, to be known as the Barotac Viejo National Agricultural School. cdt
SECTION 2. The Director of Public Schools, subject to the approval of the Secretary of Education, shall reorganize the Barotac Viejo Academic Regional High School in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
SECTION 3. The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment and operation of the said Barotac Viejo National Agricultural School for the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-two. The necessary sum for its operation in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts. cdt
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
