Republic Act No. 535, enacted on June 16, 1950, converts the barrio of Pamplona in the municipality of Tanjay, Oriental Negros, into an independent municipality. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette in October 1950.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 535

AN ACT TO CONVERT THE BARRIO OF PAMPLONA, MUNICIPALITY OF TANJAY, PROVINCE OF ORIENTAL NEGROS, TO A MUNICIPALITY WITH THE SAME NAME

SECTION 1. The barrio of Pamplona, municipality of Tanjay, Province of Oriental Negros, is hereby converted to a municipality with the same name. cd i

SECTION 2. The elective officials of the new municipality shall be appointed by the President of the Philippines and shall hold office until their successors shall have been elected and shall have duly qualified.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. cdt
