Constitution of Portions of Certain Barrios in San Mateo, Isabela into Barrio Ligaya
Republic Act No. 2791, enacted on June 19, 1960, establishes a new barrio named Ligaya in the Municipality of San Mateo, Province of Isabela. This new barrio is formed from portions of the existing barrios of Dagupan, Villa Magat, and San Manuel, which are separated by the canal of the Magat River Irrigation System. The Act became effective immediately upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on February 13, 1961.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2791
AN ACT CONSTITUTING PORTIONS OF BARRIOS DAGUPAN, VILLA MAGAT AND SAN MANUEL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN MATEO, PROVINCE OF ISABELA, INTO A BARRIO TO BE KNOWN AS BARRIO LIGAYA
SECTION 1. Portions of barrios Dagupan, Villa Magat and San Manuel in the Municipality of San Mateo, Province of Isabela, separated from said barrios by the canal of the Magat River Irrigation System, are constituted into a barrio to be known as Barrio Ligaya. cdt
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
