Constitution of Certain Sitios in Mahaplag, Leyte into Barrio San Juan
Republic Act No. 5569, enacted on June 21, 1969, establishes the sitios of Calunyan, Ihawan, Kagsilihan, Monterico, and Tagbinonga in the Municipality of Mahaplag, Province of Leyte, as a new barrio named Barrio San Juan. The Act officially recognizes and designates these areas as part of the municipality. It took effect immediately upon its approval. The law was published in the Official Gazette on November 24, 1969.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5569
AN ACT CONSTITUTING SITIOS CALUNYAN, IHAWAN, KAGSILIHAN, MONTERICO AND TAGBINONGA IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MAHAPLAG, PROVINCE OF LEYTE, INTO A BARRIO OF SAID MUNICIPALITY, TO BE KNOWN AS BARRIO SAN JUAN
SECTION 1. Sitios Calunyan, Ihawan, Kagsilihan, Monterico and Tagbinonga in the Municipality of Mahaplag, Province of Leyte, are hereby constituted into a barrio of said municipality, to be known as Barrio San Juan. cdt
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
