Constitution of Certain Municipalities in Quezon into a Separate Highway Engineering District
Republic Act No. 4972, enacted on June 17, 1967, establishes a separate and independent highway engineering district comprising the municipalities of Mauban, Sampaloc, Real, Infanta, General Nakar, Polillo, Burdeos, Panukulan, Patnanungan, and Jumalig in Quezon Province. The district will have a designated district engineer, appointed in accordance with the law, and the district engineer's office will be located in Mauban. The Act took effect immediately upon approval and was published in the Official Gazette on February 24, 1969.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4972
AN ACT CONSTITUTING THE MUNICIPALITIES OF MAUBAN, SAMPALOC, REAL, INFANTA, GENERAL NAKAR, POLILLO, BURDEOS, PANUKULAN, PATNANUNGAN AND JUMALIG IN THE PROVINCE OF QUEZON, INTO A SEPARATE, INDEPENDENT AND REGULAR HIGHWAY ENGINEERING DISTRICT
SECTION 1. Any provision of law to the contrary notwithstanding, the municipalities of Mauban, Sampaloc, Real, Infanta, General Nakar, Polillo, Burdeos, Panukulan, Patnanungan and Jumalig in the Province of Quezon, are hereby constituted into a separate, independent and regular highway engineering district. The district engineer's offices shall be established in the Municipality of Mauban. cd i
SECTION 2. The said engineering district shall have a district engineer who shall be appointed in accordance with law.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
