To guide all concerned on the interpretation of Item III-B (2) of Administrative Order (A.O.) No. 02, Series of 2002 regarding the designation of the head and two (2) members of the Regional Land Use Cases Committee (RLUCC), as well as Memorandum Circular (M.C.) No. 05, Series of 2015, the following clarifications are hereby issued:
1. The Regional Director (RD) shall designate any of the designated Director III of the Region as Head of the RLUCC.
2. Such Head shall be assisted by two (2) regular Regional DAR personnel with a salary grade of twenty-four (SG-24) as members of the Committee. Any regular Regional DAR personnel designated to a position with the same salary grade can also be selected as members.
3. The RLUCC of each Regional Office shall also be assisted by their respective Legal Division which shall assume, with the abolition of the Regional Center for Land Use Policy, Planning and Implementation (RCLUPPI) Secretariat pursuant to M.C. No. 05, Series of 2015, the functions of the RCLUPPI Secretariat.
