Batas Pambansa Blg. 783, enacted on April 27, 1984, officially renames the segment of Pasay Road that runs from Fort-Bonifacio Road in Makati to the Roxas Boulevard-Libertad intersection in Pasay City to Antonio S. Arnaiz Avenue. The law aims to honor the contributions of Antonio S. Arnaiz. The Act takes effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on October 29, 1984.

AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE PASAY ROAD EXTENDING FROM THE MUNICIPALITY OF MAKATI TO PASAY CITY BOTH IN METROPOLITAN MANILA, TO ANTONIO S. ARNAIZ AVENUE
SECTION 1. The name of Pasay Road extending from the Fort-Bonifacio Road (station 12.820) in the Municipality of Makati, to Roxas Boulevard-Libertad intersection (station 4.330) in Pasay City both in Metropolitan Manila, is changed to Antonio S. Arnaiz Avenue. acd
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
