Change of Name of Municipality of Albay, Albay to Legaspi
Act No. 3253, enacted on December 3, 1925, officially changes the name of the municipality of Albay in the province of Albay to Legaspi. Despite this name change, all provincial and municipal government offices and their dependencies will remain located in what was formerly known as Albay. The Act took effect upon its approval.

ACT NO. 3253
AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ALBAY, IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBAY, TO LEGASPI, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
SECTION 1. The name of the municipality of Albay, capital of the province of the same name, is hereby changed to Legaspi: Provided, however, That all provincial and municipal government offices and their dependencies shall continue in the former municipality of Albay.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
