Republic Act No. 5080, enacted on June 17, 1967, officially renames the Lubao Emergency Hospital in Pampanga to Escolastica Romero Community Hospital. This amendment modifies Section 1 of Republic Act No. 4255, establishing the hospital under the supervision of the Director of Medical Services. The municipal council of Lubao is tasked with providing the hospital site in consultation with the Director. The Act took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on March 10, 1969.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5080

AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF LUBAO EMERGENCY HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LUBAO, PROVINCE OF PAMPANGA, TO ESCOLASTICA ROMERO COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE SECTION ONE OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED FORTY-TWO HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE

SECTION 1.  Section one of Republic Act Numbered Forty-two hundred fifty-five is hereby amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 1. There shall be established under the direct supervision of the Director of Medical Services, a community hospital in the Municipality of Lubao, Province of Pampanga, to be known as Escolastica Romero Community Hospital. The site for the said hospital shall be provided by the municipal council of the said municipality in consultation with the Director of Medical Services."

SECTION 2.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
