Bureau of Immigration Under the Supervision and Control of the Department of Labor
Commonwealth Act No. 673, approved on July 24, 1945, establishes that the Bureau of Immigration will be supervised and controlled by the Department of Labor in the Philippines. This Act repeals Executive Order No. 300, issued in 1940, along with any other inconsistent orders or acts. The law took effect immediately upon its approval.

COMMONWEALTH ACT NO. 673
AN ACT TO PLACE THE BUREAU OF IMMIGRATION UNDER THE SUPERVISION AND CONTROL OF THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR
SECTION 1. The Bureau of Immigration shall be under the supervision and control of the Department of Labor.
SECTION 2. This Act repeals Executive Order Numbered Three hundred of the President of the Philippines, dated September three, nineteen hundred and forty, and all other orders or acts inconsistent herewith.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. SIacTE
