REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3044
AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES TO ESTABLISH A PAY PAVILION IN THE PHILIPPINE GENERAL HOSPITAL AND TO CONTRACT LOANS FOR SUCH PURPOSE
SECTION 1. To enable the University of the Philippines to meet its increasing responsibilities, said University is hereby authorized to establish a pay pavilion within the present Philippine General Hospital compound. cdt
SECTION 2. The President of the University of the Philippines is hereby authorized to borrow for the above-stated purpose an amount not exceeding three million pesos from the Government Service Insurance System, the Social Security System, and/or other government financing entities, which are also hereby authorized to grant such loans. The construction of the building for said pay pavilion shall be under the supervision of and in accordance with the rules of the University of the Philippines, any other provision of law to the contrary notwithstanding.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
