PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 51
AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES TO OBTAIN SUCH LOANS OR INCUR SUCH INDEBTEDNESS AS MAY BE NECESSARY TO FINANCE THE ACQUISITION OF CARGO AIRCRAFTS
WHEREAS, there is need to acquire cargo aircrafts to enable the Government to undertake socio-economic activities such as rescue and airlift operations during calamities, typhoon moderation projects, regional commodity movements, and other developmental work; cd i
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and pursuant to Proclamation No. 1081, dated September 21, 1972, and General Order No. 1, dated September 22, 1972, do decree that the attached Authority for the Acquisition of Cargo Aircrafts is hereby adopted and made part of the law of the land.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 16th day of November, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Seventy-Two.
