MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 464
AUTHORIZING THE INCUMBENT DEPUTY EXECUTIVE SECRETARY/CHIEF PRESIDENTIAL LEGAL COUNSEL TO ACT ON CERTAIN MATTERS AND SIGN DOCUMENTS "BY AUTHORITY OF THE PRESIDENT"
In addition to the Executive Secretary, Secretary Renato C. Corona, concurrently the Deputy Executive Secretary and Chief Presidential Legal Counsel is hereby authorized to act on the following matters not involving national interest, national security or those with political implications, and sign "By authority of the President":
1. Decisions resolving appeals from orders or actions of departments, agencies, or offices before the Office of the President;
2. Decisions on administrative investigations of employees or officials;
3. Grant of, suspension, cancellation or modification of licenses, permits or other privileges.
This is without prejudice to the mandated functions of the Executive Secretary under Section 27, Subtitle B, Title III, Book III of the Revised Administrative Code of 1987.
This Memorandum Order which amends Memorandum Order No. 404 dated 30 October 1996, shall take effect immediately and shall continue to be effective until 30 June 1998.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 27th day of February, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Ninety-Eight.
