PROCLAMATION NO. 1581
DECLARING THURSDAY, AUGUST 28, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY
WHEREAS, Thursday, August 28, 2008, marks the celebration of the annual fiesta of Cagayan de Oro City dubbed as "Araw ng Cagayan de Oro";
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of Cagayan de Oro City be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies. CAIHTE
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Thursday, August 28, 2008, as special (non-working) day in Cagayan de Oro City.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 7th day of August, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Eight.
