Approval of the GSIS Whistleblower Policy

GSIS RESOLUTION NO. 077-17
APPROVAL OF THE GSIS WHISTLEBLOWER POLICY
WHEREAS, Memorandum Circular No. 2016-02 of the Governance Commission for Government Owned or Controlled Corporations, also known as the Revised Whistleblowing Policy for the GOCC Sector, requires all GOCCs to establish their respective whistleblowing systems duly approved by their Governing Boards;
WHEREAS, the adoption of the GSIS Whistleblower Policy will provide an avenue for employees and officials to raise concerns on corruption, irregularities, and dishonesty in public service without fear of reprisals;
RESOLVED, to APPROVE and CONFIRM the GSIS Whistleblower Policy, as proposed by the Senior Vice President, Corporate Services Group and Corporate Planning Office, in her Memorandum dated 2 March 2017.
A copy of the GSIS Whistleblower Policy is made an integral part of this Resolution.
