Appropriation of Funds for the 11th World Convention of Federacion Internacional de Abogadas

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2626

AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF FIFTY THOUSAND PESOS TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSES FOR THE HOLDING OF THE ELEVENTH WORLD CONVENTION OF THE FEDERACION INTERNACIONAL DE ABOGADAS IN MANILA, ON AUGUST NINETEEN TO TWENTY-FOUR, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND SIXTY

SECTION 1. The sum of fifty thousand pesos is appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to defray the expenses for the holding of the XIth International Convention of the Federacion Internacional de Abogadas in Manila, on August nineteen to twenty-four, nineteen hundred and sixty, inclusive, including the acquisition and installation of modern conference equipment and facilities, communication and transportation services and essential conference supplies. cd

All disbursements to be made shall be previously approved by a committee composed of the Auditor General, as chairman, the Secretary of Finance and the Budget Commissioner, as members, or their respective representatives, and all serviceable equipments, supplies, materials and other property acquired hereunder shall be placed thereafter under the custody of the Department of General Services for further future use.

The sum herein appropriated shall be made available immediately upon the approval of this Act and be at the disposal of the Federacion Internacional de Abogadas.

SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
