Appropriation of Funds for the Joint Fifth World Anti-Communist League Conference

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6174

AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND PESOS TO HELP DEFRAY THE EXPENSES OF HOLDING THE JOINT FIFTH WORLD ANTI-COMMUNIST LEAGUE CONFERENCE AND THE SEVENTEENTH ASIAN PEOPLE'S ANTI-COMMUNIST LEAGUE CONFERENCE AT MANILA IN THE YEAR NINETEEN HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-ONE

SECTION 1. The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to help the Philippine Anti-Communist Movement defray the expenses for the holding of the Joint Fifth World Anti-Communist League Conference and the Seventeenth Asian People's Anti-Communist League Conference at Manila in nineteen hundred and seventy-one.

The sum herein appropriated shall be made available immediately upon the approval of this Act, and be at the disposal of the Budget Commission exclusively for the Philippine Anti-Communist Movement: Provided, however, That no part of this appropriation shall be used for the purchase of equipment: And, provided, further, That any and all expenses out of this appropriation shall be subject to the usual government auditing procedures: Provided, finally, That a report of the result of the conference shall be rendered to the House of Representatives and the Senate by the Philippine delegation and a report on the accounting of the expenses incurred shall be made by the General Auditing Office.

SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
