Appropriation of Funds for Fire Victims in Iloilo City and Roxas City

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4774

AN ACT APPROPRIATING FIVE MILLION PESOS FOR RELIEF AND AID TO THE FIRE VICTIMS IN ILOILO CITY AND ROXAS CITY

SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of five million pesos for relief and aid to the Filipino victims of the fire which occurred in Iloilo City on February seven and eight, nineteen hundred and sixty-six, said aid and relief to be administered and distributed by the city relief committee to be composed of the representative of the Social Welfare Administration as chairman, with the city engineer, city assessor, city treasurer, and representative of the Red Cross as members: Provided, however, That out of the amount herein appropriated, one million pesos shall be allocated and/or set aside for the relief and aid to Filipino victims of the fire which occurred in Roxas City in January, nineteen hundred and sixty-six. cd i

SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
