Appropriation of Funds for Delegates to the International Road Congress
Act No. 3678, approved on September 3, 1930, allocates up to eight thousand pesos from unspent appropriations for the Bureau of Public Works to cover the transportation and travel expenses of one or two delegates attending the Sixth International Road Congress in Washington in October 1930. ACT NO. 3678
AN ACT MAKING AVAILABLE, OUT OF ANY UNEXPENDED BALANCE OF THE APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE BUREAU OF PUBLIC WORKS MADE IN ACT NUMBERED THIRTY-SIX HUNDRED AND THIRTY-EIGHT, THE SUM NOT EXCEEDING EIGHT THOUSAND PESOS FOR TRANSPORTATION AND TRAVELING EXPENSES OF ONE OR TWO DELEGATES TO THE INTERNATIONAL ROAD CONGRESS TO BE HELD IN WASHINGTON IN OCTOBER, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND THIRTY
SECTION 1. Any unexpended balance of the appropriations for the Bureau of Public Works made in Act Numbered Thirty-six hundred and thirty-eight, not exceeding eight thousand pesos, is hereby made available for the transportation and traveling expenses of one or two delegates to the Sixth International Road Congress to be held in Washington in October, nineteen hundred and thirty.
SECTION 2. The Governor-General, upon recommendation of the Secretary of Commerce and Communications, is hereby authorized to designate one or two engineers in the Government service to represent the Philippine Islands as delegates to said International Congress and who shall report of their mission to the Governor-General and to the Philippine Legislature.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
