An Act to Provide Funds for the Travel and Subsistence Expenses of the Delegates of the Philippine Islands to the International Tuberculosis Congress to be Held at Rome, Italy, during the Present Year of Nineteen Hundred and Eleven
Act No. 2042, enacted on February 3, 1911, allocates four thousand pesos from the Insular Treasury for the travel and subsistence expenses of two delegates attending the International Tuberculosis Congress in Rome. One delegate is appointed by the Governor-General from the College of Medicine and Surgery of the Philippine University, while the other is designated by the Philippine Islands Anti-Tuberculosis Society. The funds can also be used for expenses incurred while visiting tuberculosis treatment hospitals abroad. The appointed delegate will continue to receive their regular salary during their absence from the Philippines.

ACT NO. 2042
AN ACT TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE TRAVEL AND SUBSISTENCE EXPENSES OF THE DELEGATES OF THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS TO THE INTERNATIONAL TUBERCULOSIS CONGRESS TO BE HELD AT ROME, ITALY, DURING THE PRESENT YEAR OF NINETEEN HUNDRED AND ELEVEN
SECTION 1. The sum of four thousand pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated from any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the travel expenses and subsistence during the trip of two delegates, one a member of the College of Medicine and Surgery of the Philippine University and the other appointed by the Philippine Islands Anti-Tuberculosis Society, who shall attend the International Tuberculosis Congress to be held in Rome, Italy, during the year nineteen hundred and eleven. The appropriation herein made shall be also available for the travel and subsistence expenses of said delegates while visiting hospitals for the treatment of tuberculosis abroad.
SECTION 2. The delegate from the College of Medicine and Surgery of the Philippine University shall be appointed by the Governor-General and shall, during his absence from the Philippine Islands, receive his regular salary as an employee of the Insular Government.
