Appropriating Ten Thousand Pesos for the Reforestation of Uncultivated Public Lands
ACT NO. 2649, enacted on February 24, 1916, appropriates ten thousand pesos from the Insular Treasury for the reforestation of uncultivated public lands and friar lands not designated for other purposes. The funds are to be utilized by the Bureau of Forestry as needed, remaining available until fully expended or until the Secretary of the Interior orders their discontinuation. The Act is effective immediately upon passage.

ACT NO. 2649
AN ACT APPROPRIATING TEN THOUSAND PESOS FOR THE REFORESTATION OF UNCULTIVATED PUBLIC LANDS
SECTION 1. The sum of ten thousand pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the Bureau of Forestry, for expenditure as may be deemed necessary for carrying on the work of the reforestation of uncultivated public lands and on the lands known as friar lands not reserved or set aside for other purposes.
SECTION 2. The sum hereinbefore appropriated shall be available for the Bureau of Forestry until expended for the purposes above mentioned, or until the Secretary of the Interior shall notify the Insular Treasurer that the disbursement of said sum is to be discontinued.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
