Application of Unexpended Funds to Necessary Expenses of the Government

ACT NO. 3353

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE APPLICATION OF THE UNEXPENDED BALANCES OF THE FUNDS APPROPRIATED BY THE APPROPRIATION ACT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR NINETEEN HUNDRED AND TWENTY-SEVEN, FOR CERTAIN NECESSARY EXPENSES OF THE GOVERNMENT DURING SAID YEAR

SECTION 1. The following sums are hereby appropriated out of the unexpended balances of the appropriations made in Act Numbered Thirty-three hundred and forty for the general expenses of the Insular Government during the fiscal year ending December thirty-first, nineteen hundred and twenty-seven, to cover deficiencies in the appropriations of certain bureaus of the Insular Government during said year:

		of quarters shall not exceed the following
		rates: For officers stationed in Manila:
		brigadier-general, P250; colonels, P160;
		lieutenant-colonels, P110; majors, P90;
		captains, P70; and lieutenants, P50; for
		officers stationed outside of Manila, the
