ACT NO. 1489
AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION SIX OF ACT NUMBERED FOURTEEN HUNDRED AND THIRTEEN BY PROVIDING THAT THE DEPUTY OF THE PROVINCIAL TREASURER IN CHARGE OF THE PROVINCIAL SUBTREASURY OF SORSOGON AT MASBATE SHALL PERFORM THE DUTIES OF MINING RECORDER
SECTION 1. Section six of Act Numbered Fourteen hundred and thirteen, entitled "An Act annexing the Province of Masbate to the Province of Sorsogon, and amending act Numbered Seventy-four, as amended, by making the Provinces of Albay and Sorsogon separate school divisions, and for other purposes," is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof the following:
"The deputy of the provincial treasurer in charge of the provincial subtreasury at Masbate shall also be the mining recorder for the subprovince of Masbate, and shall perform all the duties of the former mining recorder of the Province of Masbate, and mining records pertaining to the subprovince of Masbate shall be kept in his office: PROVIDED, HOWEVER, That at the end of every month the deputy in charge of said sub-office shall forward an itemized statement of all business transacted by him as mining recorder during the month to the mining recorder of the Province of Sorsogon for record in his office."
SECTION 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
