ACT NO. 2326
AN ACT AMENDING ACT NUMBERED THIRTEEN HUNDRED AND NINETY-SIX, ENTITLED "THE SPECIAL PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT ACT," BY PROVIDING THAT THE SALARIES OF THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNOR AND PROVINCIAL SECRETARY-TREASURER OF THE PROVINCE OF PALAWAN SHALL BE FOUR THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND FOUR THOUSAND PESOS, RESPECTIVELY, PER ANNUM, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
SECTION 1. Subsection (c) of section twenty-six of Act Numbered Thirteen hundred and ninety-six entitled "The Special Provincial Government Act," is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(c) The officers of the provincial government shall be a provincial governor, at four thousand eight hundred pesos per annum, who shall discharge the duties hereinbefore prescribed for the provincial governor and those prescribed for the provincial supervisor; and a provincial secretary-treasurer, at four thousand pesos per annum, who shall discharge the duties hereinbefore prescribed for the provincial secretary and those prescribed for the provincial treasurer, and who shall give bond as provided by section four of this Act in the sum of ten thousand pesos."
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect as of January first, nineteen hundred and fourteen.
