An Act Providing the Time at Which All Acts of the Philippine Commission Shall Take Effect

ACT NO. 1971
AN ACT PROVIDING THE TIME AT WHICH ALL ACTS OF THE PHILIPPINE COMMISSION SHALL TAKE EFFECT
SECTION 1. No Act passed by the Philippine Commission acting within its exclusive general legislative jurisdiction over all that part of the Philippine Islands inhabited by Moros or other non-Christian tribes shall take effect until fifteen days after its promulgation unless otherwise expressly provided therein.
SECTION 2. The promulgation of a law shall be understood to have been made on the day when the publication of same in the Official Gazette of the Philippine Islands shall have been completed.
SECTION 3. All Acts or parts of Acts in conflict with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed. TIADCc
SECTION 4. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.
SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
