COMMONWEALTH ACT NO. 66
AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE VERIFICATION FREE OF CHARGE BY JUSTICES OF THE PEACE AS NOTARIES EX OFFICIO, AND FOR THE REGISTRATION FREE OF CHARGE BY REGISTERS OF DEEDS, OF INSTRUMENTS CONCERNING AGRICULTURAL OR CROP LOANS NOT EXCEEDING TWO HUNDRED PESOS MADE TO SMALL FARMERS BY THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL BANK
SECTION 1. Any Justice of the peace, in his capacity as notary public ex officio, shall render service free of charge to any person applying for an agricultural or crop loan not exceeding two hundred pesos from the Philippine National Bank either in administering the oath or in the acknowledgment of instruments relative to said loan. SHECcD
SECTION 2. Any Register of Deeds shall make proper entry in the books and records of his office, free of charge, of any instruments relative to agricultural or crop loans not exceeding two hundred pesos made to any person by the Philippine National Bank.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect as provided in section eleven of the Revised Administrative Code.
