REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8572

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE SEPARATION OF THE BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL KNOWN AS THE ALAMADA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL ANNEX LOCATED IN BARANGAY PIGCAWARAN, IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ALAMADA, PROVINCE OF COTABATO, TO BE KNOWN AS PIGCAWARAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. The barangay high school known as the Alamada National High School Annex, located in Barangay Pigcawaran, Municipality of Alamada, Province of Cotabato, is hereby separated and shall henceforth be known as the Pigcawaran National High School.

SECTION 2. The Pigcawaran National High School shall be equipped with four (4) classrooms, one (1) Home Economics room, and one (1) multi-purpose workshop and provisions for one (1) Administrative Office.

SECTION 3. The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS) shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

SECTION 4. The amount necessary for the implementation of this Act shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Alamada National High School — Pigcawaran Annex. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the operation and maintenance of the Pigcawaran National High School shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
