ACT NO. 1994
AN ACT MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR PUBLIC WORKS AND PERMANENT IMPROVEMENTS IN THE PROVINCES OF AGUSAN, NUEVA VIZCAYA, THE MOUNTAIN PROVINCE AND THE MORO PROVINCE
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as may be respectively necessary, are hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for public works and permanent improvements in the Provinces of Agusan, Nueva Vizcaya, the Mountain Province and the Moro Province:

Total appropriations for all purposes, three hundred and eighty-nine thousand four hundred pesos. ETHIDa
SECTION 2. The "road and bridge fund" available for expenditure by the provincial board of any province exclusively under the control of the Philippine Commission shall be expendable for the construction or maintenance of roads, trails, and bridges; but adequate provisions shall first be made for the maintenance of existing roads, trails, and bridges, and only the amount available after such maintenance has been provided for shall be expended for new construction.
SECTION 3. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
