An Act Granting Philippine Citizenship to Liang Xi Wu
Republic Act No. 11844, enacted on June 18, 2022, grants Philippine citizenship to Mr. Liang Xi Wu, conferring upon him all associated rights, privileges, duties, and obligations under Philippine law. Mr. Wu is required to take an Oath of Allegiance before an authorized officer, which must then be registered with the Bureau of Immigration. Following this registration, a Certificate of Naturalization will be issued, allowing him to fully enjoy his citizenship. This law takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11844
AN ACT GRANTING PHILIPPINE CITIZENSHIP TO LIANG XI WU
SECTION 1. Mr. Liang Xi Wu is hereby granted Philippine citizenship with all the rights, privileges and prerogatives, as well as the duties and obligations appurtenant thereto under the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
SECTION 2. Mr. Wu shall take the Oath of Allegiance to the Republic of the Philippines before an officer duly authorized to administer the same. The Oath of Allegiance shall be registered with the Bureau of Immigration.
SECTION 3. Upon registration of the Oath of Allegiance, the Bureau of Immigration shall issue a Certificate of Naturalization to Mr. Wu who shall thereupon enter into the full enjoyment of Philippine citizenship.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
