An Act Fixing the Boundary between the Provinces of Antique and Iloilo, and for Other Purposes
Act No. 3136, enacted on March 6, 1924, mandates the Bureau of Lands to establish and mark the boundary between the provinces of Antique and Iloilo based on pre-1918 official maps of Panay Island. Once the boundary is marked, the territory south of the defined line will belong to Antique, while the area north will be designated to Iloilo, granting each province jurisdiction over their respective territories. The costs associated with this boundary establishment are to be shared equally by both provinces, with each provincial board required to allocate necessary funds. The act takes effect immediately upon its approval.
